Here's a few tidbits on me.
- graduated from NCSU in 1999 with BS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Computer Engineering.
- started career in test engineering and software engineering, moved into software quality assurance, and now work with computer systems validation and quality management for INC Research, a clinical research organzation.
- first experienced losing my job in August 2003. Upon the suggestion of my counselor with the outplacement service that I look at the Triangle Networking Group as a resource during my job search, I started attending meetings in December 2003 and continued to attend regularly because I looked forward to every meeting as an opportunity to learn, talk with people and, more importantly, help someone in any way I could. When the opportunity in Spring 2005 arose to assume the leadership of the TNG, I took it because the TNG is a valuable resource for many professionals, and we can help many professionals in crises through information and resources. I served as the Executive Director of the TNG until we received our 501(c)(6) nonprofit status. I now serve as Chairperson of the Board of Directors. I strive to promote professional success in our local professional and business community.
- am a social philanthropist with a software startup company, legal services and identity theft protection business, and LinkeIn consultancy.
- am a Stephen Minister at Wake Forest United Methodist Church.
